专利说明:
Coupling assembly for parapet support. Coupling assembly for coupling a parapet support to an anchoring base, such as a concrete cover band or a roof edge. Such coupling compositions are used in the construction sector, in particular civil and utility construction, and serve to anchor cover elements of a cavity wall to a parapet support. Parapet supports are generally fitted against the inner leaf in the cavity of a cavity wall, in particular when this cavity wall forms a parapet of a balcony or balustrade or is provided with a roof. To stabilize this cavity wall, vertically extending parapet supports are provided at regular intervals, which are generally supported on and fixed to the floor. In order to connect to the inner leaf, these parapet supports can still be provided with cavity anchors which are fitted in the mortar of the wall. In the case of a balcony or balustrade, the cavity wall is usually covered at the top with (concrete) cover bands. To prevent loosening and falling off of the cover bands, these cover bands are connected by means of a coupling assembly and anchored to the parapet supports. Various embodiments are available on the market for these coupling compositions. A known coupling assembly consists of a bracket arranged in recesses in the top of the parapet support and a threaded rod which is connected to the bracket. However, there are a number of disadvantages to this coupling assembly. It has been found that this structure, while mounted, has great flexibility for coupling to the cover tapes, but that this results in too much play and flexibility in the connection in the mounted state, so that the stabilizing action can quickly be lost, e.g. setting up the building and the construction. This great flexibility of the bracket with threaded rod furthermore has the disadvantage that during mounting the threaded rod does not remain stably up, so that the assembly is labor-intensive and laborious, and requires two engineers. This known construction also has the disadvantage that the bracket with threaded rod cannot be heavily loaded (by tensile force) due to the small contact surfaces with the parapet support. The invention therefore has for its object to provide a flexible coupling which, if desired, can be easily mounted and fixed on the side of the parapet support and / or on the side of the cover belts and which has a greater stabilizing effect in that it can be loaded more heavily (on tension). To this end, the invention provides a coupling assembly for a parapet support, comprising a plate element provided with a guide recess; a bolt suitable for passage through guide recess, wherein the head of the bolt is provided with a support surface; fasteners, for fixing the bolt to the anchoring base. Due to the above construction of the coupling assembly, a good two-dimensional flexibility is obtained from the position of the bolt due to its free adjustability in the guide recess and the free adjustability of the plate element in the parapet support, while the plate element has a large contact surface with the parapet support. and a bolt is applied whereby the coupling assembly can be loaded more heavily. The bolt is preferably provided with a locking element which, in the mounted position, is located in the guide recess and prevents rotation of the bolt relative to the plate element. These measures prevent rotation of the bolt in the plate element and the coupling can easily be tightened and subjected to a heavy load. In a preferred embodiment, the bolt is provided with a second fastening means for fixing the bolt to the parapet support or to the anchoring base. This greatly simplifies assembly, because the bolt continues to extend stably upwards after the bolt has been adjusted to the mounting position and inserted into the mounting opening. The embodiment is preferred in which the bolt is threaded at the end remote from the head. An advantage is the embodiment in which the bolt is a lock bolt, entirely provided with screw thread, and in which the fixing means are nuts which cooperate with the screw thread of the bolt. It has been found that with these measures a flexible adjustable coupling assembly is obtained with which large loads can be absorbed; the stability of a parapet fitted with a cover band is increased and which, moreover, can be easily mounted. The invention also relates to a parapet support with support body which is provided with a coupling assembly according to the invention. In particular, two opposite side cheeks of the support body are provided with elongated recesses for receiving the plate element, such that the plate element is slidable and / or adjustable with respect to the support body. More specifically, in the assembled position of the coupling assembly, the guide recess in the plate member is elongated and its longitudinal axis is substantially perpendicular to the direction of adjustment of the plate member in the support body. As a result of these measures, a flexible adjustable coupling is advantageously obtained, which is structurally strong and stable and can be heavily loaded. The invention will be explained in more detail below with the aid of the drawing of an exemplary embodiment of the parapet support with coupling assembly, wherein features and other advantages will emerge. FIG. 1 shows in front view the coupling assembly according to the invention in mounted condition between a cover band and a parapet support, FIG. 2 is a side view of the coupling assembly of FIG. 1 in the mounted state; FIG. 3 shows the coupling assembly of FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 in top view. FIG. 1 shows a parapet support 21 provided with a coupling assembly 1 according to the invention connected to an anchoring base 20. Of the parapet support 21 only the upper part of the support body 23 is shown. In this exemplary embodiment, the support body 23 is formed by a U-profile with two side cheeks 22 and a connecting part. If desired, the support body 23 can also be designed as a closed box section. In this exemplary embodiment, the U-shaped support body 23 is fixed with the closed side - the connecting part - against the floor and the (inner) wall placed thereon. The plate element 2 is freely slidably arranged in two elongated recesses 24 in the side cheeks 22 of the support body 23 (see Fig. 2). The part of the plate element 2 protruding outside the side cheeks 22 of the support body is preferably greater than half the distance between the side cheeks 22 so that the plate element 2 cannot slide out of the parapet support 21 when the bolt 8 is fitted. The plate element 2 is provided with a guide recess 3 (see also Fig. 3) through which a bolt 8 is arranged. The bolt 8 is provided with a head 4 on which a supporting surface 5 is provided. This support surface 5 has a larger diameter than the guide recess 3 so that the bolt 8 can support on the plate element 2. The bolt 8 is fixed in the mounting opening 19 of the anchoring base 20 - such as a balustrade cover strip or a roof edge - with the aid of, for example, a support ring 16 or other fastening means. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the coupling assembly 1 is further provided with a second fastening means 11 with which the bolt 8 can, if desired, be fixed to the plate element 2 or to the anchoring base 20 and which also prevents the bolt 8 from falling out of the plate element 2 during assembly, for example. Moreover, this second fastening means 11 ensures that the bolt 8 is stably held in an upwardly extending position, so that its mounting is greatly simplified. The bolt 8 is preferably a so-called lock bolt, and the major part of the end of the bolt 8 is provided with screw thread 10, so that if desired additional fastening means such as nuts 11 can be provided for fixing and / or stabilizing the coupling assembly 1. For the second fastening means 11 can be selected for any measure obvious to the person skilled in the art, such as for instance a key, screw or clamping element. Fig. 2 shows in side view the exemplary embodiment of Fig. 1 with side cheek 22 and the elongated recess 24 arranged therein. The dimensions of the cross-section of the plate element 2 are smaller than the dimensions of the elongated recesses 24 so that the plate element 2 can be easily and freely shift relative to the support body 23 of the parapet support 21. Fig. 3 shows in top view further details of the coupling assembly 1 according to the invention. The guide recess 3 is arranged in the width direction of the plate element 2, so that in combination with the free adjustability of the plate element 2 in the side cheeks 22 of the support body 23 a complete two-dimensional adjustability is made possible so that mounting and coupling of the Anchoring base 20 can be easily carried out at the construction site despite tolerance deviations. In order to prevent the bolt 8 from turning while tightening nut 6 (Fig. 1), the bolt 8 is provided with a lock element 9 with a diameter smaller than the internal width of the guide recess 3. This allows the lock element 9 to recess so as to prevent twisting of the bolt 8 in the mounted state. In Fig. 3, the supporting surface 5 is also shown with a dotted line. The support surface 5 extends beyond the guide recess 3, whereby the coupling assembly 1 can be tensioned and the cover band or the like can be stably connected to the parapet support 21. The mounting of the coupling assembly 1 according to the invention is preferably carried out as described below. The coupling assembly 1 is adjusted relative to the support body 23 in such a way that the bolt 8 can be inserted into the mounting opening 19 of the anchoring base 20. The second fastening means 11 is mounted or adjusted in such a way that the bolt 8 will not fall out of the mounting opening 19, so that the fastening element 6 can be easily mounted on the top side of the anchoring base 20 and if desired the assembly 1 can be tensioned so that the anchoring base 20 is anchored to the parapet support 21.
